The service that Powell Volvo provides is 5 Star Quality. They really think of every minute detail by keeping the customer in mind. I am in outside sales, so every minute i am not in front of a customer means i loose the capability to make money. From the loaner car program, to having water/internet/phone access at your facility truly shows you respect our time and value our business. That is why I am on my third Volvo- convenience & service!

i had to replace the transmission in my 2003 s-60 2.4t which cost me approx $5300. my service advisor - jud white explained my options to me and the repair was a better option for me than the other alternatives. i was very pleased with the work and the service provided by jud and his team but not very happy that a car of this type, which has a history of poor transmissions, was not addressed by volvo and resolved before i incurred such an expense. this should not be a repair that owners of volvo's should have to bear. the quality of your cars is purported to be much better and in that, i am dissappointed. i chose the best option i had at my disposal and appreciate the fine work that jud and his team did on my vehicle, but wish that volvo would resolve the transmission problems in this vehicle. thank you

He gives me good information about suggested upcoming repairs and maintenance that my car will need — without any pressure to have the work done immediately. Service was excellent and service advisor David Aldrich was very attentive. While vehicle was being repaired, courtesy driver, Jim, dropped me off at a local shopping mall at the entrance I requested. While shopping, David Aldrich called me with a status report so I'd know when vehicle repairs would be complete. Since I needed a little more time before returning to the dealership, I called the courtesy driver when I was ready for pick up and only had to wait ten minutes for a ride. David walked me to the cashier station to complete the transaction. A+ for service and thoughtfulness.

I didn't plan on buying a car when I stopped by. Ron showed me around the lot, taking the time to find out what was important to me instead of just trying to sell a car. I didn't realize Ron was a salesman at first, I thought he was just going to answer questions until the salesman came out. But that's a good thing. I didn't feel like I was being "sold" but rather, Ron took a genuine interest in helping me pick the right vehicle. There was no pressure whatsoever. He is extremely knowledgeable and pointed out every detail of the vehicles. If it wasn't for Ron, I can't say for sure I'd have bought my Genesis that night. Finance was great, and David in Service went out of his way to get the car in for an alignment after I noticed it pulled a little to the right. I'm very glad I bought my Hyundai, and even more glad that I know I have a top notch dealership to work with. I've already recommended your dealership to others and will continue to do so!

I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied with my experience’s with your service dept in the past, but since I have been dealing with Dave I can not say enough about the wonderful customer service I have gotten. I was in the customer service world for 28 yrs and if you were to look up great customer service in the dictionary you see Dave's face. He takes it a extra mile. . . He sure is a pleasant person to do business with, and a tremendous employee to your corporation.

Last Sunday (9/5/10) my wife Ann and I purchased a 2010 Elantra GLS. When we got home, we realized that we only had one set of keys. A half hour after we got home, Ron Rinaldi, our sales consultant called us and said he had another set of keys for us. He went out of his way to drive out to our house and hand deliver them. I brought my Santa Fe in for service to have my speedometer fixed. Casey was able to get my vehicle in right away. He, as always, did just as he promised to do. My speedometer was fixed for a reasonable price and it was fixed in a very timely manner. It is always a pleasure coming to Hyundai for my vehicle repairs. Casey is a huge asset to your service department.

My advisor DONNA was wonderful as always!! I pulled up w/no appt as my Santa Fe earlier in the morn had sprung a leak thru a radiator hose. She was very thorough in gathering my information and said she would call as soon as she found what the exact problems were, repairs needed, and the cost for all. She called me later in the afternoon to inform me of the issue, the repairs made and that there was no cost to me as all were covered under the great Hyundai warranty. I have been working with Donna on many occasions and she has been extremely professional, courteous, and informative. I apologize I have not commented in the past but please know every experience has been EXTREMELY positive!! She's a wonderful asset to your Service Dept!! Sincerely,

I was told I would be receiving a survey for customer service, which never came through for whatever reason. A little about me and what your amazing services technicians have to put up with. I am that person for a sneeze rushes to the emergency room to get a a check up to make sure I am not dying. It probably didn't help when the one time I listened to my friends and didn't go to the E.R that I ended up with walking pneumonia. I am someone who will expect the worst and annoy any professional to no end when trying to figure out if the worst happened. In the past month and a half your techs have been that professional. They have done an amazing job at putting up with my personality flaw, to the point of where I was considering actually purchasing a new Hyundai. While I have been swayed back to the Honda Civic, your techs are the only reason why I would ever consider continuing to be a part of they Hyundai family. David especially has been the most amazing employee of a company that I have ever worked with, and me being a W.P Carey student and interning/ working with non-profit's, for-profits and the public sector I have never come across an someone so decided to doing his job and insuring the customer is happy. If I ever successfully start my own company, which is a possibility, I would hire David as a consultant to train my customer services reps on how to make my customers happy. He would be worth the price of a consultant because he knows how to do his job, and that in itself would pay off because I would have loyal customers. David is the example of what our teacher try to ingrain in us with the important of knowing your product and having amazing customer service. I thank you for taking your time to read how I feel your customer service is, and if for some reason my email is not sent to the correct person, please see that it does.

I simply cannot tell you the level of professionalism of all of the service center employees. Casey has consistently shown such a high level that I don't ever want to take my car anywhere else to get serviced. He's hospitable, kind and understanding. Sometimes repairs cost a lot of money and communicates that in a very effective way. Someone should give him a bonus, raise or put him in a money machine where he can make triple his salary. Thanks so much for always being awesome Hyundai of Tempe!

I recently switched from San Tan Hyundai to Hyundai of Tempe because I was looking for a service manager who was friendly, nice and willing to provide outstanding customer service. I rarely need to bring my Sonata in for service, but I would always leave San Tan spitting fire because my service manager was so rude and would literally argue with me on things with my car. Needless to say, I am just thrilled to have Casey Grant as my new service manager! I've worked with him twice in the last month and cannot rave about him enough.
Prior to my Sonata I owned a Chevy and had the most wonderful service manager, in fact I went through 2 Chevy trucks with him because the service he provided was keeping me coming back to Chevy. Casey is quickly following in the same footsteps - thankfully I was so in love with my Hyundai and it was such a great deal because my bad experiences with the San Tan service manager didn't deter me from planning to buy another Hyundai in the future, but I can tell you now know that knowing I can bring my car to the dealership without frustration and anxiety and Casey will help me in a positive and professional manner, I certainly will plan to keep buying Hyundai cars. I've already got my eye on the new Sonata!!

I had a dead battery Monday morning and I was able to get in right away to have it replaced...thank goodness for warranties. I also was able to get my car serviced along with a couple things fixed that I was having problems with. David is the service manager that helped me out and he is always very pleasant to work with. Having good customer service is a huge plus and that most places lack. Makes me enjoy mu Hyundai even more.

First of all I done a lot of research on the new 2011 Sonata. I compared it to all the competitors and even had a Honda Accord waiting for me next door. We decided to check out the Sonata and buy a car that day. Ron met us inside the showroom and did a great job of showing us the different Sonatas. I thought I would prefer the Limited model but the showroom SE was an outstanding looking car. We wanted to test drive an SE but you were so busy that Ron had the floor model taken outside for us to test drive. Wow we were impressed. Ron knew every detail about the car and showed them all to us. We got a fair trade in and a fair price. Drove it home that night. We love it so far and want to thank your finance manager, and Mr. Hammaker. You are all very professional and we enjoyed the experience. Thanks. My daughter will be your next customer.

Very well indeed. We had bought the Sonata only a couple of days previously. We brought the car in so that the window tinting could be applied, and also to repair a dent in the hood that had escaped our notice on delivery. It was not a very large dent, only a couple of inches long on the hood.
When we arrived at the dealership, we were treated with courtesy, given a loaner vehicle. When we returned to pick up the car, it was finished, and the paperwork just being taken care of. The dent had been completely removed. We could find no evidence that it had ever existed. Kudos to the body shop!!
Our service adviser, Donna Anderson was, throughout the entire process friendly and professional. All in all, a very good experience.

I always had great service when I came in. Prompt getting me in & if something was found I was asked what I would like done. Since I am particular about who works on my car & I drove from Lakeside I would have it fixed while I was there. Those were the good days. I moved to Missouri due to my 85 year old mother's health. I had work done at Suntrup in St Louis > I was told when car was done power steering fluid was "murky" & I might want to consider flushing it sometime. I was charged 90 cents I had to laugh. I had problems getting through to make that appointment & today I tried to make an appointment for brakes & couldn't get through. I called a dealer in Cape Girardeau,MO. Got right through brakes & rotors front will be $405 & back brakes will be $245 . We'll see how this dealer compares to the marvelous service at Tempe Hyundai.

I have always been told that the dealership charges more and to go to a local shop! I don’t mind paying more because the service is excellent, I feel confident that my service tech Ryan Hatch is being 100% honest and fair with me and I get peace of mind knowing that my car is being serviced/repaired correctly. My service technician Casey was efficient as usual, I dropped off my car and over to Lifetime Fitness next door to work out the stress and kinks. My vehicle was ready in the timeframe promised. My vehicle was washed and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up. The handoff of the paperwork from Casey to the accounts receivable person was swift and very efficient, with big smiles from all the personnel. I even got to shake hands with the general manager Michael, and a few pleasantries were exchanged. Thanks again Michael for putting together such an efficient, friendly staff of technicians, office support personnel and most importantly, knowledgeable mechanics.
Service consultant Casey Grant and mechanic Andy were extremely efficient at their positions. Casey was pleasant, informed and a good listener. How did you do? Great! After a flat tire at 4 a.m., and a day that just went down hill from there, I finally managed to get to the service department a bit after 4:30 p.m. Thinking that I had arrived too late to get the tire fixed right away, and would have to leave it and come back the next day, I got a great surprise. Not only did you cheerfully fix the tire for me, one very kind gentleman (I'm sorry I don't know his name) seemed to recognize that I was near the end of my rope, and gave me a flower "to make my day better". My rep, David Aldridge, is a prize to work with; always cheerful and courteous, explains the service, and bends over backwards to help me. When the sensor in the tire stem wouldn't recalibrate and turn off the dashboard warning lights, he assured me the tire was not leaking and the car was safe to drive, explained what might be happening, what you would do to diagnose the problem, and then what my options would probably be. Then he went one step further and comped the initial tire repair, which just sealed the deal for me. Best service experience ever. And since I don't think I've ever had bad service from you, that's saying a lot. Thank You.

Your service department did great! I dropped my 2007 Tucson off with a very vague issue of a whining sound as well as an intermittent hard shift condition. Your mechanics found a bad wheel bearing as well as a bad throttle sensor. Now both conditions are resolved and the car performs like it did when it was brand new! Your mechanics also found that the rear brake pads were paper thin, so after getting my approval they relined the rear brakes.

You did great again. The only one thing is that I had to wait too much for a regular oil change. I got an appointment for 10 a.m. and the car was ready at 11:30 a.m. 1.5 hours is too long time for this minor service with appointment. You may want to make your schedules not so crowded - that way the technicians won't rush the job just to be on time... My other car that I had serviced I thing I was a little overcharged with labor. $430 looks too expensive to me. But I know you did the best possible job so I guess I'll be fine. Ryan is 1 of the best consultants I've ever met so I know quality costs more. Thanks

The service was efficient and fast!  The estimated time was 2 to 21/2 hours for my 90,000 mile check and ended up only being 1 hour because my service person, Donna Anderson put two people to work on it.  Since it was a late afternoon appointment after a long day, I greatly appreciated her going that extra step.  But then Donna is always terrific!

I bought my Hyundai from Hyundai of Tempe three years ago and have since moved to North Carolina (where I continue to search for the same caliber of customer service I received from Tempe).  Recently I have had service questions that I couldn’t get answered at my local dealerships.  You were willing to take my calls even though I was 2500 miles away!   In fact, you helped me twice in the last year and with both calls, you took the time to answer my questions with outstanding advice and information.  And you did it graciously-- without making me feel like I was taking up your time.  You even thanked me for calling you!   Wow!  Because of people like you, Hyundai of Tempe has the best customer service out there.  You are the bench mark by which I judge other Hyundai dealers for customer service.  Even if I were to find a dealership with the same awesome customer service, when it is time for me to buy another Hyundai, I will come back to Hyundai of Tempe for my car—no matter where I am in the country!  You gotta dance with the one that takes ya, right?

I just wanted to let you know about my recent contact with Hyundai of Tempe. Last Saturday my car became disabled in a shopping center parking lot. I called your service department and was given the number for roadside assistance. They were quite helpful and arrived within 15 minutes. I had a repair done on my vehicle for a CV boot. The service and timing were perfect. I did run into a problem with a noise that occurred after the repair. Donna and the tech. Brian looked at the car two more times and determined the cause and made the repair. I was provided a vehicle and they were above the line on service!!!!!!!! I have heard the sound again, and I am sure that this is something that is not related to what we were addressing. Ryan Hatch provides excellent service. Previously I was taking my car to Brakes Plus and Midas, I had a few bad experiences with both places and decided to try the dealership. I was told that the dealership was more and they recommend fixing things, that don't need to be fixed. That's not the case! I have had excellent service and Ryan has always taken more then enough time to go over what the car needs to run efficiently. He is well versed and highly knowledgeable in his specific industry. I recently switched from San Tan Hyundai to Hyundai of Tempe because I was looking for a service manager who was friendly, nice and willing to provide outstanding customer service. I rarely need to bring my Sonata in for service, but I would always leave San Tan spitting fire because my service manager was so rude and would literally argue with me on things with my car. Needless to say, I am just thrilled to have Casey Grant as my new service manager! I've worked with him twice in the last month and cannot rave about him enough.
Prior to my Sonata I owned a Chevy and had the most wonderful service manager, in fact I went through 2 Chevy trucks with him because the service he provided was keeping me coming back to Chevy. Casey is quickly following in the same footsteps - thankfully I was so in love with my Hyundai and it was such a great deal because my bad experiences with the San Tan service manager didn't deter me from planning to buy another Hyundai in the future, but I can tell you now know that knowing I can bring my car to the dealership without frustration and anxiety and Casey will help me in a positive and professional manner, I certainly will plan to keep buying Hyundai cars. I've already got my eye on the new Sonata!!

First of all I done a lot of research on the new 2011 Sonata. I compared it to all the competitors and even had a Honda Accord waiting for me next door. We decided to check out the Sonata and buy a car that day. Ron met us inside the showroom and did a great job of showing us the different Sonatas. I thought I would prefer the Limited model but the showroom SE was an outstanding looking car. We wanted to test drive an SE but you were so busy that Ron had the floor model taken outside for us to test drive. Wow we were impressed. Ron knew every detail about the car and showed them all to us. We got a fair trade in and a fair price. Drove it home that night. Very well indeed. We had bought the Sonata only a couple of days previously. We brought the car in so that the window tinting could be applied, and also to repair a dent in the hood that had escaped our notice on delivery. It was not a very large dent, only a couple of inches long on the hood.
When we arrived at the dealership, we were treated with courtesy, given a loaner vehicle. When we returned to pick up the car, it was finished, and the paperwork just being taken care of. The dent had been completely removed. We could find no evidence that it had ever existed. Kudos to the body shop!!

I always had great service when I came in. Prompt getting me in & if something was found I was asked what I would like done. Since I am particular about who works on my car & I drove from Lakeside I would have it fixed while I was there. Those were the good days. I moved to Missouri due to my 85 year old mother's health. I had work done at Suntrup in St Louis > I was told when car was done power steering fluid was "murky" & I might want to consider flushing it sometime. I was charged 90 cents I had to laugh. I had problems getting through to make that appointment & today I tried to make an appointment for brakes & couldn't get through. I called a dealer in Cape Girardeau,MO. Got right through brakes & rotors front will be $405 & back brakes will be $245 . We'll see how this dealer compares to the marvelous service at Tempe Hyundai.

I have always been told that the dealership charges more and to go to a local shop! My service technician Casey was efficient as usual, I dropped off my car and over to Lifetime Fitness next door to work out the stress and kinks. My vehicle was ready in the timeframe promised. My vehicle was washed and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up. The handoff of the paperwork from Casey to the accounts receivable person was swift and very efficient, with big smiles from all the personnel. I even got to shake hands with the general manager Michael, and a few pleasantries were exchanged. How did you do? Great! After a flat tire at 4 a.m., and a day that just went down hill from there, I finally managed to get to the service department a bit after 4:30 p.m. Thinking that I had arrived too late to get the tire fixed right away, and would have to leave it and come back the next day, I got a great surprise. Not only did you cheerfully fix the tire for me, one very kind gentleman (I'm sorry I don't know his name) seemed to recognize that I was near the end of my rope, and gave me a flower "to make my day better". My rep, David Aldridge, is a prize to work with; always cheerful and courteous, explains the service, and bends over backwards to help me. When the sensor in the tire stem wouldn't recalibrate and turn off the dashboard warning lights, he assured me the tire was not leaking and the car was safe to drive, explained what might be happening, what you would do to diagnose the problem, and then what my options would probably be. Then he went one step further and comped the initial tire repair, which just sealed the deal for me. Best service experience ever. And since I don't think I've ever had bad service from you, that's saying a lot. Thank You.

Once again, I was taken care of by a team of excellent Hyundai employees! Casey, my regular service manager, never lets me down. When I come in needing service or repairs, it means so much to me that I generally work with the same contact, and it means even more that I can rely on seeing Casey- he's outstanding.   I couldn't believe how quickly my car was ready (thanks to those nameless mechanics who worked hard for me, too!) I met Bob, the shuttle driver, for the first time- and he was great company while he drove me to and from the service department. My car was cleaned for me, as well- not only did I get the repair I needed, but I could scratch washing the car off my overpopulated to do list. I have owned several Toyotas over the years, this is my first Hyundai after I switched. I never had this kind of relationship with them. Thank you Hyundai Tempe!!!

The only issue I had this time was I made an appointment to bring in my car at 8:30 (I called a few days prior) but it wasn't looked at for over 2 hours. I waited, and then had to get a family member to come get me and then bring me back. I thought by making such an early appointment it would've been looked at earlier. Your service department did great! I dropped my 2007 Tucson off with a very vague issue of a whining sound as well as an intermittent hard shift condition. Your mechanics found a bad wheel bearing as well as a bad throttle sensor. Now both conditions are resolved and the car performs like it did when it was brand new! Your mechanics also found that the rear brake pads were paper thin, so after getting my approval they relined the rear brakes.

As always, service at your dealership is a good experience. Donna Anderson is waiting for you when you arrive and is always smiling, friendly and yet very professional. The waiting area is clean, comfortable and the coffee is always hot and plentiful! When service is completed, Donna reviews what was done and what to expect may be needed at the next visit. I left in my clean, vacuumed Hyundai and will return!

You did great again. The only one thing is that I had to wait too much for a regular oil change. I got an appointment for 10 a.m. and the car was ready at 11:30 a.m. 1.5 hours is too long time for this minor service with appointment. You may want to make your schedules not so crowded - that way the technicians won't rush the job just to be on time... My other car that I had serviced I thing I was a little overcharged with labor. $430 looks too expensive to me. But I know you did the best possible job so I guess I'll be fine. Ryan is 1 of the best consultants I've ever met so I know quality costs more. Thanks

The service was efficient and fast!  The estimated time was 2 to 21/2 hours for my 90,000 mile check and ended up only being 1 hour because my service person, Donna Anderson put two people to work on it.  Since it was a late afternoon appointment after a long day, I greatly appreciated her going that extra step.  But then Donna is always terrific!

I must praise the excellent job Mr. J.P. Hammaker did in showing and selling me a new Tucson. This thank you note is long overdue and for that, I apologize. 
I bought my Hyundai from Hyundai of Tempe three years ago and have since moved to North Carolina (where I continue to search for the same caliber of customer service I received from Tempe).  Recently I have had service questions that I couldn’t get answered at my local dealerships.  You were willing to take my calls even though I was 2500 miles away!   In fact, you helped me twice in the last year and with both calls, you took the time to answer my questions with outstanding advice and information.  And you did it graciously-- without making me feel like I was taking up your time.  You even thanked me for calling you!   Wow!  Because of people like you, Hyundai of Tempe has the best customer service out there.  You are the bench mark by which I judge other Hyundai dealers for customer service.  Even if I were to find a dealership with the same awesome customer service, when it is time for me to buy another Hyundai, I will come back to Hyundai of Tempe for my car—no matter where I am in the country!  You gotta dance with the one that takes ya, right?

I just wanted to let you know about my recent contact with Hyundai of Tempe. Last Saturday my car became disabled in a shopping center parking lot. I called your service department and was given the number for roadside assistance. They were quite helpful and arrived within 15 minutes. I called my service advisor, Casey Grant, who was most helpful, as he always is. First thing Monday morning he is calling me to tell me my car is fixed and what time would I like to be picked up to return to the dealer. Even your driver was so kind. What a pleasant experience! I had a repair done on my vehicle for a CV boot. The service and timing were perfect. I did run into a problem with a noise that occurred after the repair. Donna and the tech. Brian looked at the car two more times and determined the cause and made the repair. I was provided a vehicle and they were above the line on service!!!!!!!! I have heard the sound again, and I am sure that this is something that is not related to what we were addressing. Either way, I am certain that Donna will take care of this and it will be a painless experience. She is a great representative of your dealership!

Ryan Hatch provides excellent service. Previously I was taking my car to Brakes Plus and Midas, I had a few bad experiences with both places and decided to try the dealership. I was told that the dealership was more and they recommend fixing things, that don't need to be fixed. That's not the case! I have had excellent service and Ryan has always taken more then enough time to go over what the car needs to run efficiently. He is well versed and highly knowledgeable in his specific industry. I will always bring my car back and recommend any friend or relative to your location for service or a new purchase.

Dear Sirs, As always, my experience with David Aldrich as my Service Supervisor was exceptional. He is very professional, courteous and always pays attention to detail. I had the pleasure of having David as my Service Supervisor at "Santan Honda" and now have him for my wife's S.U.V. at Hyundai. I might ad, one of the reasons we even looked at the Santa FE was because David recommended it! If it wasn't for this recommendation, we probably wouldn't have bought it. Everyone else I thought did a great job with the Service and the Cleaning of my wife's vehicle ( I'm a stickler on that, just ask David! ) and all in all everything went fine. Best Regards,
